Fuzio 2026.0.0 is released

Today we are excited to introduce Fuzio, a modern cross-platform Java library for embedding the Chromium web browser into Java and Kotlin desktop applications.

Fuzio allows Java and Kotlin developers to extend their desktop applications with modern web browser capabilities while keeping full control over the native UI and application logic.

Key features 

The first release already provides a rich set of capabilities:

  • Platforms and CPU architectures. Fuzio supports Linux (including Loongson distributions), Windows, and macOS. It’s compatible with the x86, x86_64, ARM64, Apple Silicon, and Loongson64 CPU architectures. Learn more about requirements.
  • Java UI toolkits. Fuzio provides a visual BrowserView component for JavaFX, Swing, SWT, and Compose Desktop that can be used to embed the Chromium web browser into your Java application GUI. Learn more.
  • Maven and Gradle. You can easily add Fuzio to your Maven or Gradle project and start using it in minutes. Learn more.
  • API. Fuzio provides a rich API for interacting with the Chromium web browser, including navigation, page loading, network, permissions, cookies, DOM access, and more. Learn more.
  • Call Java/Kotlin code from JavaScript. Thanks to the bidirectional Java/Kotlin-JavaScript bridge, you can execute JavaScript code from your Java or Kotlin code, or inject Java/Kotlin objects directly into your JavaScript code. Learn more.
